Hanging in Rome

Spent last night in Rome where we had a night on the town. I fell in love with the Vittoriano, it is so grand and makes you feel so awestruck. I have never been in the presence of such beauty, a city built a-r-o-u-n-d all of this: thousands of years of history. We passed the spot where Julius Caesar was murdered. There are fountains pouring water everywhere, and the water is clean and crisp and delicious, ok to drink because it comes from the aqueduct.

Everything here is amazing. Chris is going to help me look for an apartment today after we do a day at the beach. I also may get a cell phone which would make all incoming calls free, so you all can get in touch with me anytime without hassel.

The culture is so different, and it is difficult to get along without the language. I am learning the vital stuff, but it will be hard to get along on my own after Monday. We shall see how things go.

There are some strange French girls in our hostel, who are very odd as well. But... I don't have any more time to talk write as our internet time has just about expired. I will write again soon...

Wow. Sounds amazing Clint! I am so envious of you. Sounds like things are going well besides a few bumps in the road (which are expected). I cannot wait to hear more. Enjoy! :)
