Quick Comment and Annoying Clarification

I'm sure there are much poorer areas / places in the world that I couldn't even imagine. Sorry to have sounded so harsh. I mean, what do I know? I'm just a middle-class American, lucky enough to travel to places like Bombay.

Regarding the video below, wrong one (obviously) yet strangely enough my dumb-ass still managed to title it right. The one I was thinking about is on asian-soup, with Hawk and his drunk-ass doing his 'happy bottle dance.'

Thanks for the post. You've given me something to think about; I had a kind of job offer in Delhi, and we're still thinking about it.

My advice: visit first, then decide whatever....

'cause India with time will blow your mind. I mean, I liked India, but, man I would NEVER want to live there.

Which is why I consider myself so lucky....

We saw Slumdog Millionaire. Have you seen that movie? It shows the condition of the street children, and how they are forced to beg and are maimed on purpose, sometimes, for begging. *I hope your stomach gets better. If you notice how much Tumeric they put in food there it is reason: Turmeric (yellowish-orange powder)is thought to have many medicinal properties and many in South Asia (particularly India) use it as a readily available antiseptic for cuts, burns and bruises. Practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine say it has fluoride which is thought to be essential for teeth. It is also used as an antibacterial agent.

It is taken in some Asian countries as a dietary supplement, which allegedly helps with stomach problems and other ailments. Pakistanis also use it as an anti-inflammatory agent, and remedy for gastrointestinal discomfort associated with irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive disorders. In Afghanistan and North West Pakistan, turmeric is applied to a piece of burnt cloth, and placed over a wound to cleanse and stimulate recovery. It is currently being investigated for possible benefits in Alzheimer's disease, cancer and liver disorders. *If you can get some it seems it might be helpful as well as ginger. *I will be glad when you tire of the Mohawk and we can see your lovely curly head. Take care, Ms. Alonna.

Yes, I have seen Slumdog and that is why I didn't want to give money to beggars. Where does the money really go?

Thanks for the advice on the medicine, Mrs. Alonna. New blog coming soon.
