Farewell Mirandola, Farewell Italy

It’s been a good run. I hope I see you again, Italy, but once again the time has come to move on. I’ll miss your food, your multi-colored towns, your coffee, and of course your people. I wasn’t so social this time around, I know, but I had some good experiences- saw Chris again, even Sharon (his Mom), got to see Milan & once again learned the meaning of ‘summer romance.’ I ate well, read a lot & had a good time with my surrogate family of Europe. With the Benatti's, I feel like I’ll always have a home. I only hope one day I can repay them for the kindness they’ve shown me.

Paltro claims I inspired him to make his own exodus, something for which I am flattered. He is heading to South America in a month. I told him to start a blog and hope he does. I hope we stay in contact. Ciao Antonio, Beppe and all the others. Good luck to you guys.

And now Prague. The first stop. Johan is waiting- that malaka. Oh, it’s gonna be good times, I can hardly wait. Johan has been there before so it’ll be good to have someone to show me around. I wish I had time to see Budapest, but dem’s the breaks. See you in Prague~
